SBI Early Career Webinar Series II
Studies have demonstrated that early career radiologists are most prone to the symptoms of burnout. This subset of radiologists faces unique challenges as they embark on their careers. Many resident and fellowship curricula lack dedicated education on relevant early career topics. This webinar series will provide those newly entering the field of breast imaging with tools to effectively navigate the early career years, fill individual knowledge gaps, create a sense of community, and increase engagement in SBI-- all of which are known to mitigate burnout.
We strive to provide a program that will strengthen the foundation for a successful career in breast imaging. This webinar series expands upon 2023's inaugural Early Career Webinar Series by offering an additional four webinars recorded for on-demand viewing:

Burnout Recognition, Prevention, and Management: Martha Mainiero, MD, FSBI
Description: Radiologists are at high risk for burnout, which has many negative implications for physician wellness and patient care. This webinar will review the causes and manifestations of this psychological syndrome, including statistics about burnout in breast radiologists. We will discuss what leaders can do to help prevent burnout and what individuals can do to improve resilience and wellness.
