- Recognize the enhancement patterns at breast MRI that are suspicious and require biopsy, compared to patterns that are related to artifacts, and will not persist once trouble shooting for technical issues are performed.
- Recognize the role of features identified on breast MRI as imaging biomarkers in the setting of monitoring response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy and allow for early identification of response or non-response to therapy, often before response may be assessed clinically by referring physicians.
- Discuss the concept of abbreviated breast MRI exam and the steps to implement this technique.
